Cell phones will be turned off and collected at the beginning of the day and will be kept behind my desk. They will be returned to the students at the end of the day.
Homework Policy
Homework is given regularly in order to provide students with the opportunity to practice the concepts covered in class, develop good study habits, and learn time management skills. This homework should be a review of what was learned that day/week. Your child should be able to work on their homework independently with little help within a 30-45 minute time frame. If your child is struggling to complete the homework on their own, please contact me through email, a note on the homework, or by phone so that I can help them further. In addition, homework is due the day after it is assigned unless otherwise specified. I do not typically give extra credit; however, students are able to redo any assignment for a higher grade. Grades will be updated every Wednesday. Please remember that we do not give letter grades and that a 75% or higher is considered a passing grade.
Please refer to my Grading System document below.
